Position: Purchaser for Newbuilding Consumables
- Project duration: 10 Months (might be extended)
- Flexi work from Home/Office (1 day WFH / 4 days Office)
- Team size: 3 in Newbuilding Purchasing, reporting to Procurement Manager
- Brief project description: To manage Purchasing activities for Newbuilding Vessels, specifically for Consumables, as well as to support the team in administrative housekeeping.
Responsibilities
- Ensure the timely ordering of the day to day requisitions;
- Obtain Superintendent’s approval for quotation and offers received to place order
- Ensure delivery on board through logistic chain from the supplier to the vessel;
- Report any specific vessel requirement;
- Follow KPI's as defined by Procurement Director
- Comply with IMS (integrated management system and all relevant international rules and regulations;
- Ensure all your duties in accordance with quality, health, safety, environmental and ethics policies;
- Apply the best practice defined by the group procurement;
Benefits:
- S$ 4500 - 4800 per month, depending on relevant working experience

- 1 day Annual Leave per month worked
- 1 day Medical Leave per month worked, Medical Certificate is required
