Job Description
- Establishing clear sales goals and targets for the sales team to achieve within specific timelines
- Monitoring individual and team performance regularly to ensure that sales objectives are being met and identifying areas that need improvement
- Assisting the sales team in negotiating and closing deals with customers to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and revenue generation
- Review and oversee sales proposals, pricing, contracts and tender documents
- Oversee the preparation and development of updated presentation decks for new acquisitions
- Ensuring that the sales team complies with company policies, procedures, and ethical standards at all times.
- Identify market sectors and help to penetrate into new opportunities
- Assist in developing service prices and cost structure approaches to close deals
- Conducting market research to stay informed about competitors, market trends, and customer preferences, and using this information to develop competitive strategies
- Identifying potential new market opportunities and developing plans to penetrate new markets and expand the customer base
- Preparing and presenting regular sales reports, including sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports, to the management team
- Build and maintain positive working relationships and strong rapport with accounts for high account retention and client satisfaction
- Work closely with other departments such as marketing, product development, and operations to ensure a unified approach towards achieving company goals
- Hire, develop and coach team members to promote their motivation and optimal performance
- Provide ongoing training and development opportunities for the sales team to enhance their skills and knowledge, and to keep them up-to-date with industry trends and best practices.
The Successful Applicant
- 5 years in sales management, with a track record of achieving sales targets
- Able to strategize and come up with short term and long term sales strategies to facilitate and enable the sales team to close more deals.
- Resourceful critical thinker to resolve challenges from daily operations
- Good team player with ability to interact with all levels
- Can leading and closing large, strategic deals
- Able to manage multiple deals in the sales pipeline end-to-end
- Acounts Management: B2B sector/vertical
