Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Head of Operating Model Transformation, he/she is responsible for the planning and execution of projects for the waterfront transformation to support the next generation multipurpose port businesses and operations.
Plan, drive and implement projects/programmes
- Drive actions based on business requirements such as new process set-up, pilot run and product testing.
- Project management and delivery. Ensure projects are well structured, planned and executed.
- Engagement with relevant stakeholders to understand requirements and concerns.
- Lead conceptualisation of frameworks and develop end-to-end processes to drive projects forward.
- Responsible to drive supply chain roadmap to adapt to port ecosystem strategies.
- Propose and present to both ground personnel and senior management.
- Ownership of plans and initiatives to organize and coordinate regular sessions where required.
- Conduct post project evaluations and identify areas for continuous improvement.
Others
- Provide support to other on-going projects, assisting where required.
- Willingness for cross-functional development to drive transformation at the waterfront.
Job Specifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Operations Research, Maritime, Engineering,
- Proven experience with project/programme management is preferred
- Proven experience in process re-engineering and /or operational excellence is preferred.
- Comfortable with numbers and performing analysis on large datasets.
- Ability to deal well with uncertainty, resistance, and conflicts.
- Proficient with MS Office software and willingness to learn new software systems.
- Self-motivated, process driven, ability to deliver results under stressful and challenging conditions
- A good communicator, outgoing, and able to engage others across diverse cultures
