Reporting to the GM, the Operations Executive’s primary responsibility is to oversee and ensure smooth the day to day operations of the company, and support the company to hit growth targets and sales goal.
Job Responsibilities:
Inventory
- Update, maintain and keep accurate inventory records in system on a consistent basis.
- Monitor stock depletion and manage weekly stock withdrawals from external (bonded) warehouse to ensure optimal stock level at all times.
- Process stock transfers (consignment/ collection) and goods returns.
- Verify the accuracy of stock movements by conducting detail audits of the inventory on a regular basis.
- Report stock loss/ damage; investigate inventory errors and reconcile stock discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Track goods returns, investigate all the potential causes and suggest corrective measures for improvement.
- Oversee quarterly stock take.
- Work closely with warehouse team to create and implement effective inventory control procedures.
- Work closely with purchasing team to ensure stock sufficiency.
Operations
- Oversee daily business operations and addressing operational issues.
- Supervise warehouse and logistics team, including fleet and warehouse management, and backup when required.
- Responsible for enforcing company policies and procedures within the office.
- Liaise with different departments to improve performance and work efficiency.
- Evaluate current work processes and recommend improvements.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and operational guidelines for staff.
- Educate operations team on best practices, company policies and service excellence standards.
- Ensure warehouse and fire safety are compliant with government regulations.
- Oversees warehouse/logistics equipment, property management and maintenance.
- Support the Sales and Marketing team in implementing activities and event-related operational requirements.
- Generate operational reports for management as needed.
- Other ad-hoc duties assigned.
