The job:
Responsible for:
- Commissioning, troubleshooting & on-site training on freight container handling equipment.
- Arrangement for warranty and non-warranty works on site.
- Compiling safety risk assessments and ensuring safe work methods are used.
Requirements:
- A recognized Diploma in Engineering with 8 to 12 years’ experience in working with heavy industrial machinery, preferably port handling equipment.
- Good knowledge and experience with finetuning & debugging PLC programs and troubleshooting on electrical & hydraulic systems.
- Good oral and written communication skills in English and Mandarin (to communicate with our China plant).
- Possess class 3 driving license.
The position is based in Singapore, overseas travel to ports in Asia & Middle East will be required.
