We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as a Maintenance Supervisor. This role is crucial in ensuring the smooth operation of our service department, meeting customer demands, and maintaining high service standards.
Position Overview:
As a Maintenance Supervisor for Heavy Vehicles and Machinery, you will play a key role in overseeing the daily service operations to guarantee customer satisfaction. You will be responsible for managing customer service level agreements (SLA) and the service team, while addressing technical issues related to maintenance with principal suppliers and customers. Additionally, you will implement and monitor quality assurance processes and safe working procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Satisfaction:
· Oversee daily service operations to ensure timely and quality delivery of services.
· Manage customer service level agreements (SLA) and ensure compliance with
established standards.
· Address and resolve all customer concerns and technical issues promptly.
· Prepare regular reports to customers and management.
2. Operation:
· Implement preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance programs and
schedules for the equipment under service contracts.
· Ensure efficient job allocations and resource management of workforce, fleet, and
spare parts.
· Provide quotation to customers for any maintenance works.
3. Quality Assurance:
· Implement and monitor quality assurance processes to maintain high service
standards.
· Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and
implement corrective actions.
4. Safety Compliance:
· Implement and monitor safe working procedures to ensure a secure working
environment.
· Provide training and resources to the team to promote safety awareness and
adherence.
5. Financial Management:
· Manage the cost and profit of quotations and service contracts, ensuring financial
objectives are met.
· Monitor and analyse financial reports related to service operations.
6. Spare Parts Inventory:
· Oversee the spare parts inventory and ensure adequate stock levels.
· Place orders for spare parts as necessary to support efficient execution of service
contracts.
Qualifications:
· Minimum diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
· Proven experience in managing service operations for heavy vehicles and machinery.
· Strong leadership and team management skills.
· Excellent communication and customer service skills.
· In-depth knowledge of quality assurance processes and safe working procedures.
· Financial acumen with the ability to manage service contract costs and profits.
· Familiarity with spare parts inventory management.
