We are looking for an experienced Corporate Communications Senior Executive to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and managing strategic internal and external communication programs with the aim of strengthening our public image.
This position requires you to collaborate with content teams to ensure content or marketing material meets our intended purpose. You will proactively identify and act on opportunities to create positive publicity using various digital platforms.
Responsibilities:
- Write and/or edit leadership communications, effectively capturing the voice and strategic priorities of the President and leadership team
- Draft official letters to government agencies e.g. on policy matters.
- Create content for EDMs, press releases, newsletters, etc. by working with internal teams and other stakeholders
- Work with internal teams to craft strategic messages to update members of new and/or significant happenings
- Create interesting/useful contents on LinkedIn and manage posts with intent to increase following and visibility
- Create escalation procedures for handling unfortunate situations like bad publicity
- Develop and cultivate strong relationships with media representatives as well as identify opportunities to raise our corporate image through such relationships
- Respond to media queries and requests for interviews from press
- Manage our digital media gallery
Requirements:
- A degree in Mass Communication, or equivalent
- Three to five years’ experience in a related position
- Strong corporate communications skills
- Exceptional writing and editing skills
