Senior Infra Engineer Windows /Linux / Cloud /Open shift(_Advanced)

Infrastructure Management
•Drive infra project life cycle – Server provisioning to Cutover.
•Work with infra and app teams on requirement gathering to implementation.
•Review and analyze infrastructure architecture and identify the gaps.
• Expertise on Infrastructure Project builds / Management.
• Expertise in OS Administration ( Windows + Linux + AIX ), Apache, JBOSS, IBM WebSphere , IBM IHS , IIS Administration.
• Expertise in administering AWS Cloud, containerization technologies (Kubernetes, Docker, ECS, EKS).
• Skillful knowledge on CHAOS Engineering.
• Candidate with operational experience, preferably in support of critical application systems will have an advantage.
• The candidate should have strong infrastructure/technical background with knowledge on Open Systems platform, Firewall and load balancer, and moderate information security knowledge
• Have good leadership skills in working with application teams and service providers in defining infrastructure deployment plan, cutover/migration strategy and test plan.
• Have a good understanding of ITIL processes
•Perform RHEL OS patching and other administration tasks for cloud projects
•Guide app team to troubleshoot infra related issues.
•Be the SME for Linux administration and automation.
Operation & Process:
•Prepares technical project plans for new initiatives in BAU
•Collaborates with Application teams and other infra teams to develop technical solutions and enhancements.
•Drive the on boarding of new applications on to the production environment.
Maintain Security:
•In accordance with Bank’s security directives, assists to deploy, maintain, and enhance the security of all infrastructure systems through administrative, preventive, detective, and reactive controls, such as change and configuration management, anti-virus measures, patch management, and system scans.
Requirements
•At least 4-7 years of relevant Infrastructure support and OS administration
•Minimum 3 years hands-on working experience managing production application support
•Knowledge in MQ, Elastic Search, AWS would be preferred
•Hands-on experience in RHEL 6/7 OS patching, administration and shell scripting.
•Good command in Microsoft Office products.
•Experience in monitoring tools like Dynatrace would be handy.
•Must have good communication and writing skills. Able to drive meetings and coordinate different stakeholders.
