SUMMARY
Provide administrative and organizational support toward the youth engagement programs in CI Singapore. Organize community outreach activities, youth engagement opportunities, conduct research, prepare materials and coordinate with stakeholders to foster interactions with nature and raise CI’s profile in the youth sustainability scene. Support program communications including presentations where appropriate.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support the exploration of opportunities for youth development through networking and engagement with identified youth and community leaders
- Support and plan community outreach activities with the aim of building relationships on the ground.
- Support the development of materials, evaluation criteria, nomination forms, legal documents and selection of youth leaders driving change in conservation and climate action
- Support strategy and program development for youth engagement program
- Assist with organization of networking events, workshops and overseas trips and expeditions
- Assist with logistical preparation and coordination for any attendance at conferences, including briefing and background materials from CI
- Manage and maintain regular engagement with CI’s youth network, whilst keeping a lookout for high potential youth
- Help to create program collaterals to educate the public and raise awareness and work with vendors on the creation of materials
- Conceptualize, plan and oversee the creation of social media content and assets, oversee the social media content calendar and community manage social media channels
- Support on documents for fundraising, grant writing and budget tracking
- Support on monitoring and evaluation of programs
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Stay updated on trends and policies related to ocean and wildlife conservation and youth empowerment in Singapore and beyond.
- Perform related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s Degree and at least 2 years’ relevant working experience
- Good analytical, organization and time management skills
- Team player who is able to work in a diverse and multi-cultural environment
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-paced environment, under minimal supervision
- Experience in managing and maintaining a community group
- Experience in running and managing events
- Savvy with social media trends
- Experience in managing social media channels and savvy with social media trends
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS
- Demonstrated interest in environmental and educational issues will be preferred
- Experience in creating assets, eg. Graphics, reels, stories, infographics is preferred
- Buzzing with great ideas
- Driven, organized, meticulous and likes to create the brief, not wait for the brief
- Likes to network with people and build relationships
WORKING CONDITIONS
- Occasional travel to remote project locations for fieldwork
- Comfortable working outdoors for extended periods
