Responsibilities:
- Develop sustainability and regenerative strategies and proposals at all scales and design stages of projects in the built environment
- Coordinate strategies and proposals for ESD, ESG and carbon assessments with in-house teams, project clients, other consultants and stakeholders
- Demonstrate good knowledge of environmental design, sustainability and carbon benchmarking, building energy optimisation, daylight & shading design, sustainable systems, materials, biodiversity, carbon assessment, energy, water and waste systems and building physics
- Coordinate, complete and ensure Green Rating in projects in any given green and carbon rating scheme (Green Mark, LEED etc.)
- Appreciate the need for the development and application of consistent standards and metrics
- Complete simulations such as energy modelling, CFD, daylight & glare modelling etc. to provide accurate calculations and informed design options
- Develop appropriate design, proposals or analysis within the agreed timeline
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, guiding and supporting project teams, ensuring effective coordination and communication
Qualifications, Experience and Skills:
- Degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Engineering, Architecture, Building Science or related disciplines
- Min 2 years’ experience in environmental consultancy, research or related fields
- Genuine interest in Sustainability and Regenerative Design and commitment to continuous professional development
- Commitment to developing specialist skills in one or more disciplines
- Interest in AI, automation and new technologies an added advantage
- Good knowledge of sustainability principles, rating and certification schemes and ESG frameworks
- Professional certification such as GMAP / LEED AP / WELL AP a plus but not required
- Proficiency in Revit, Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, knowledge of softwares such as Grasshopper, Ladybug/Honeybee, Radiance, eQuest, EnergyPlus, IES, D3, or general programming or data visualization skill would be of interest
- Strong graphic and verbal communication and presentation skills
- Good writing skills for written reports and publications
- Ability to work under limited supervision and as a supportive team member
