We have an opportunity to invite qualified talent to join our exciting growth journey as an Finance Manager/Senior Finance Manager. The person will be part of a team that have opportunities to work with others from other locations.
Responsibilities:
- Reports to Chief Finance Officer and supervise a group of accounts staff.
- Review and monitor the Group’s financial performance against budget.
- Prepare / Review Group Management reports and budgets and provide financial analysis to Management/Board.
- Prepare SGX result announcement and annual report.
- Actively involve in daily operational matters.
- Review of quarterly GST Returns and annual tax filing for the Group.
- Prepare annual audited financial statements.
- Oversee the training and development of the Finance team to ensure each level of staff able to perform their tasks at an optimal level.
- Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit and issuance of financial statements; bankers and tax consultants when required.
- Review contractual documents and liaise with lawyers as and when required.
- Create ad-hoc reports for various business needs for time to time.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or ACCA/CPA/Accounting qualification related certificates are preferred
- Minimum 5 years of accounting and finance experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of tax legislation
- Good knowledge of Singapore Reporting Standards, Companies Act and other accounting regulatory requirements is highly essential
- Cross-Functional Work Concept
- Knowledge and experience with internal control documentation
- Excellent communication skills are a must for this role as is the ability to manage your time effectively and efficiently
- Hands on approach, ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external parties
- Well versed in MS Excel and spreadsheet techniques with exceptional numerical proficiency and experienced in financial modelling
- Hands-on, analytical, meticulous, strong in processes and financial concept, problem solver
- Possess a positive attitude, good leadership skills, interpersonal communication skills, independent and a team player
- Excellent written and verbal skills in English
