· Responsibilities
- Develop, manage and sustain high-performance of Construction Team and Administration Team in all Administrative, IT Compliance, Legal Compliance, CSR Issues and Project Management.
- Obtains positive contribution by managing staff, establishing and accomplishing business goal and objectives.
- Provide cause-driven leadership with focus on quality with metric driven outcomes to support the overall strategic plan.
- Plan and ensure operational growth and improvement through global system expansion and upgrading.
- Analysis of Projects and Company Financial Reports for Singapore Branch.
- Cash Management, Cost Management, Project Management and forecast expenditure budget for the month and financial year to each budgeting goal
- Fund transfer between Japan Head Office and Branch, whenever required.
- Ensure compliance of Accounting Policies and Procedures
- Biweekly, monthly and quarterly reporting for project update and reporting and consolidation of financial status of Singapore Branch to Japan Head Office.
- Ensure compliance of existing and new Fixed Assets in accordance to Head Office’s policies and procedure.
- Effectiveness in achieving the desired targets in the specified time and doing the task correctly, timely and at minimum possible cost.
- Ensure on-time delivery of projects.
- Data analytics initiatives to support businesses and increase revenues, improve operational efficiency, optimize resources to achieve optimum result.
- Work closely with the Administration Head on Financial Management in planning, organizing, directing and controlling the project financial activities.
- Analysis of company’s financial statements for decision-making purposes.
- Ensure company’s affairs comply with appropriate rules and regulations, meeting all corporate guidelines.
- Daily communication with Japan counterparts and other overseas branches.
Requirements:
- Minimum a Degree in Engineering.
- At least 10 – 15 years’ of managerial experience with proven track record in handling M&E projects in a Japanese Construction Company.
- Ability to read and speak Japanese is a pre-requisite.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
- Resourceful, creative, pro-active, negotiation, good management and problem-solving skills is an added advantage.
- Understanding of Japanese culture is preferred.
- Ability to lead a team of staff and business partners of multinational background and culture.
- Knowledge of business processes and functions (accounts, procurement, operations, HR, Admin etc) would be advantageous
