Main purpose of the job


The Integration Lead plays a supporting role in bridging the gap between global and regional organisations and connecting Global Procurement Office with Asahi Group Holdings with respect to dedicated categories. He/She act in aligmnet with the respecive Category Director, Category team and the Liason Director. Beyond that, the purpose of this job is to oversee, implement, and optimize procurement strategies and operations across the organization, as well as foster unity across regions and promote the sharing of best practices and knowledge. The role involves managing supplier relationships, executing strategic sourcing plans, and implementing category strategies to maximize business value. It also entails risk management, with a focus on price volatility, supplier stability, and product or service availability. Driving sustainable procurement initiatives and innovations, while cultivating a positive work culture that aligns with the company's people strategy, are vital aspects of the role. Ultimately, the aim is to contribute to operational excellence in procurement, continuously improve capabilities, and align procurement practices with Asahi's overall strategy.


This position reports to the Global Category Director for MBS.


Key qualification criteria


· University degree, preferably in Business related field

· Able to communicate in English

· 5+ years of professional experience, whereof 2+ years in procurement

· International experience from multinational company

· Experience from an above-market role

· Procurement platform/-s experience

· Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite


Accountabilities and deliverables


· Support collaboration between the GPO team and regional procurement teams (focus on Japan) in according with implementing procurement purpose, vision, strategies, and governance regardless of language in a timely manner.

· Support Alignment of Global Category Strategies: Ensure that the global procurement strategy aligns with the specific procurement needs and regulations of each region (focus on Japan), taking into account factors such as local suppliers, market conditions, and supply chain dynamics.

· Ensure that all parties are well-informed and aligned on joint projects, policies, or objectives.

· Promote one team spirit between all regions (focus on Japan) to enable the sharing of best practises and knowledge.

· Support Global Procurement People strategy and culture (incl. DEI, employee engagement, and well-being).

· Self-manage adherence to defined governance, policies, and processes.

· Protect all of the company’s assets by putting in place an internal control system and procedures.

· Protect the reputation of Asahi by following applicable legislation.

· Contribute to achieving operational excellence in Procurement, including its processes and systems.

· Support continuous improvement of Procurement capabilities and practices in alignment with the overall Asahi strategy and external benchmarks.
