IT Workplace Support Engineer

Job Summary:

We are actively seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior IT Local Support Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in handling Windows environments and be well-versed in Microsoft technologies, including but not limited to Endpoint Management, Azure, Microsoft 365 (M365),  and System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM). This role will focus on providing top-tier technical support, managing complex IT projects, and ensuring the seamless integration of Microsoft solutions within our organization. Experience in security audits, such as ISAE and ISO 27001, would be a significant advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

End-User Support:

  • Provide advanced technical support for end-users, addressing hardware and software issues in a Windows environment.
  • Utilize Microsoft Endpoint Management for endpoint security, application deployment, and device management.

Microsoft Technologies:

  • Administer and maintain Windows operating systems, ensuring optimal performance and security.
  • Manage Microsoft 365 (M365) applications, including Exchange Online, SharePoint, and Teams.
  • Implement and maintain Azure Active Directory for user authentication and access control.

Project Management:

  • Lead and contribute to the planning, execution, and completion of complex IT projects, with a strong emphasis on Microsoft technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate and optimize Microsoft solutions.

Server and Network Support (Advantage):

  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of server administration and network protocols.
  • Collaborate with the infrastructure team on server and network-related tasks.

Documentation:

  • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation for IT processes, configurations, and Microsoft technology implementations.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of support tickets and resolutions.

Security and Compliance:

  • Implement and adhere to security best practices, especially in the context of Microsoft technologies.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.
