Embark on a rewarding career journey as an #Operations Analyst in Settlements for our client, who is the leading financial services company across the globe.
This will be part of the Security Transfers team that oversees the process of onboarding security assets for Private Banking clients.
This role will play a crucial role as a collaborative team member, actively participating in daily operations to ensure the timely and efficient settlement of security transactions across markets, facilitating new asset inflows into the bank. This process is instrumental in supporting the Wealth Management business.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with transfer counterparts to negotiate and reach agreements on transfer details and timelines.
- Take responsibility for processing all instructions in alignment with trade details, ensuring accuracy in SWIFT instructions sent to custodians.
- Follow up on transfer cases to ensure seamless street settlement.
- Ensure accurate processing of all transfers by EOD.
- Maintain and guarantee proper filing and archiving of all trade documentation.
- Demonstrate the ability to liaise with custodians, counterparts, and the front office to resolve disputes and discrepancies.
- Acquaint yourself with the internal tool landscape, infrastructure, and processes.Apply your experience and knowledge to the organization’s PB APAC environment.
- · Ensure the receipt and/or delivery of assets (securities).
Essential Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent
- At least 1-2 years of relevant experience in Settlements
- Open to fresh graduate
- Attention to detail, meticulous, and careful.
- Knowledge and skills in securities settlements (SWIFT MT54x messaging).
- Fundamental market knowledge for securities (equities & bonds).
- Comfortable with technology.
