Establish & implement a profit management framework that promotes cross-functional / entities collaboration to define a justified target, review results and identify gaps / opportunities to support cross-functional action planning.
Job Description
1. Establish Profit Management framework for Value Chain business.
• Discuss & align with regional profit team & other counterparts to ascertain the profit management scope & requirement.
• Establish & align with relevant functions, a clear linkage between sales performance indicators and the resulting profit by function.
• Explore & propose ways to systemize the target setting, data collection and review process.
2. Support regional profit team and counterparts on target setting and review.
• Collect data, analyze and evaluate target proposals from the counterparts.
• Identify gaps or opportunities and establish a recommended target position.
• Discuss and align with counterparts on the identified gaps / opportunities.
• Support counterparts where necessary, on their gap / opportunity closing activities.
3. Projects.
• As and when required, support regional profit team and other counterparts to visualize sales & profit at a functional, vehicle model or country level.
• Identify gaps and opportunities to support the counterparts on action planning.
• Where required, support team members on other project work.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related field.
• 2-5 years working experience in Finance or Business/Profit Management.
• Fresh graduates with strong numeracy, structured & analytical mind with problem-solving aptitude are welcomed.
• Good business acumen and able to understand business concepts.
• Meticulous, self-motivated, a team player and able to work under pressure.
• Good initiator with strong multi-task and time management skills.
• Strong presentation, communication ability (both written and spoken) and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with all levels of stakeholders across functions and get buy-in on key decisions.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and multicultural environment.
• Open to travel for business.
