PRIMARY FUNCTION
Reporting to the Accounting Assistant Manager (AR), this role is responsible for supporting accounts receivables operations to ensure accurate reporting and timely collections, as well as other accounting and month end closing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Process AR receipts and credit/debit notes
- Generate monthly statements of account and perform account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly AR aging report and follow up on outstanding payments
- Handle AR queries from customers & other departments
- Support month-end closing activities
- Support audit and tax-related activities
- Support process improvement and system enhancement projects as needed
- Ad-hoc finance related assignments
SKILLS & REQUIREMENTS
- Diploma / Degree in Accounting
- 1 – 2 years of relevant working experience preferred
- Possess strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in MS Office applications; SAP experience preferred
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; motivated with high degree of commitment to meeting deadlines, targets and objectives
