Main Duties
- Oversee business operations, financial performance (P&L) management, sales, profit, budgeting, forecasting, and KPI monitoring.
- Builds and manages relationships with key stakeholders in the organisation.
- Design, lead, implement, and maintain financial and business controls
- Ensure compliance with laws, regulations, and the company's Code of Ethics
- Direct and coordinate key business strategies for brand expansion, retail store expansion, merchandising, product management, and branding activities
- Responsible for building the company's brand in Singapore and devising advertising and promotional plans
- Oversee the working capital position, optimizing levels in line with strategic plans
- Monitor and control all expenses in line with strategic goals
- Participate in the development of sales and profit goals as a member of the management team
- Ensure proper communication and adherence to the code of ethics by all managers and employees
- Ensure the existence and compliance of an annually updated Chart of Authorities within the company and with its Management Business Unit (MBU)
Franchising
- Actively involve in franchising and wholesale strategy and business plan in alignment with overall corporate strategy and annual budget
- Achieve sales targets and other key performance indicators for the franchising and wholesale businesses
- Proactively monitor, develop and recalibrate action plans as necessary to capitalize on market opportunities and changes, and mitigate risks
Job Requirements:
- At least minimum of 10 to 12 year(s) of related working experience in a management role in retail industry (Shoes/Sports/Apparels related) is required for this position
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels, including people-management, leadership and both written and verbal communication skills
- A highly motivated and independent individual that works well within a team structure
- Experience having worked in a fast paced, multi-channel, retail environment
- Excellent analytical and numerical skill
