Job Duties:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program for the office building, production plant, and cold room warehouse
  • Supervise Facilities and Maintenance staff in executing routine inspections, repairs, and upgrades to ensure optimal functionality
  • Coordinate with external vendors for specialized maintenance services as needed
  • Address emergency maintenance issues promptly to minimize downtime and disruptions
  • Oversee the maintenance and repair of processing equipment, machinery, and other production-related assets
  • Develop and implement a predictive maintenance strategy to reduce equipment downtime and enhance operational efficiency
  • Collaborate with production managers to schedule maintenance activities during planned downtime periods.
    Keep accurate records of equipment maintenance history and performance
  • Ensure that all facilities and machinery adhere to safety standards and regulations
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to identify and address potential hazards
  • Collaborate with the safety team to implement safety training programs for maintenance staff
  • Develop and manage the facilities and machine maintenance budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource optimization
  • Obtain competitive quotes for maintenance services and negotiate contracts with vendors

You need to have/be:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field (preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience in facilities and machine maintenance, preferably in a food processing or manufacturing environment with supervisory responsibility
  • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance
  • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills with the ability to motivate and guide a maintenance team
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with cross-functional teams
