JOB OPENING: SYSTEM & NETWORK ENGINEER
Salary Range: $3000 - $4500
Job Duties:
- Overseeing customer’s requirements and collaborating closely with customers' IT vendors and maintenance support vendors
- Taking ownership of customers' technical issues, tracking them through resolutions, and escalating to appropriate channels when applicable
- Installing, supporting, and maintaining hardware and software network infrastructure according to best practices (routers, switches, Wi-Fi controllers, firewalls, server virtualization, storage, etc.)
- Providing technical support to customers’ end-users and diagnosing problems through onsite or remote troubleshooting
- Supporting technical needs in customers' environment through the integration of new and existing technologies
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology
- Professional Certification in Cisco Certified Network Associate or equivalent (added advantage)
- Professional Certification in Microsoft Certified Solution Associate (added advantage)
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a System Administrator or Network Administrator or in a similar role
- Familiarity with various operating systems and platforms
- Resourcefulness and problem-solving aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Immediate availability or short notice period is an advantage
- Candidates can be hybrid (in both System & Network) or well-versed in either System or Network
- Proficiency in Mandarin for engaging Mandarin-speaking counterparts
