We are looking for an individual who loves a vibrant and diverse company culture. The ideal person will have the responsibility of overseeing the accounting function of the company and will play a key role in setting up the best accounting practices for the company. This role reports directly to the General Manager.
Responsibilities
- Handle full set of accounts including accounts receivable, accounts payable, journal entries, bank reconciliation
- Generate sales invoices and bill customers
- Follow up with clients on account receivables and ageing payments
- Creating payment requests on DBS for accounts payables
- Coordinate with external auditors for quarterly GST preparation filing, quarterly and year-end filing
- To assist management in recommending and implementing accounting workflows and best practices for the company
- Verify and prepare staff claims and reimbursements
- Prepare payroll and CPF submissions using HR software
- Prepare financial reports for management
- Other ad-hoc accounting duties as assigned by management
Requirement
- At least a diploma/degree in accounting or finance
- Min 2 years of accounting experience
- Experience in using accounting software (Quickbooks or Xero)
- Proficient in MS Office
- Good written and verbal communication skills (Dealing with Government bodies and MNCs)
- Meticulous and possesses great attention to details
- Good Integrity, Accountable and Positive Attitude
