JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Accounts Payable
- Verified all vendor invoices are properly supported with purchase orders;
- Prepare cheques and payment vouchers for management signatory;
- Contact vendors to come and collect the cheques after it have been signed;
- Ensure all payment vouchers, vendor invoices, and other relevant supporting documents are properly filed;
- Update all payment transactions to the accounting system on a timely basis;
- Check and verify all payment transactions to bank statements;
- Update all vendor invoices to the accounting system on a timely basis;
- Check and reconcile that all vendor balances as per our accounting system are properly matched to vendors’ statement of accounts;
- Close Accounts Payable in the system timely in order to meet the monthly and yearly closing deadline;
- Assist in all other finance matters pertaining to Accounts Payable.
Inventory
- Key in the date onto the master inventory stock sheet base on the daily stock-in vouchers submitted by the Production Department;
- To assist in the monthly cycle count;
- To assist the accounts supervisor in all finance related matters pertaining to inventory.
Cash Handling
- Ensure that all physical cash received are correctly recorded and accounted for;
- Prepare the daily cash receipt voucher and update it accordingly;
- Update the daily cash received to the Cash Book;
- Ensure that all physical cash paid out are correctly recorded and accounted for;
- Prepare payment vouchers to support the cash payment;
- Reimburse all staff reimbursement on a timely basis;
- Update the daily cash payment to the Cash Book;
- Prepare the physical cash to be banked in to the Bank as and when it is required;
- Enter the amount banked in to the Cash Book and ensure that the bank in slips tally to the amount bank in;
- Any ad-hoc work as prescribed by the superior.
- Reporting to Account Executive;
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Possesses at least GCE ‘O’ levels or the equivalent;
- Min 3 years of working experience in related field;
- Basic data analysis abilities;
- Proficiency in Office software, such as Microsoft Office etc;
- A good team player possesses the ability to work with minimal supervision;
- Have a good aesthetic appreciation and creativity, able to work independently;
- Strong in execution, communication, time management;
