Role Description
A Senior Strategic Planner is responsible for developing and implementing strategic plans to effectively solve the client’s business and communications challenges.
This role could involve conducting market research, desk research and doing social listening to analyse industry trends and understanding the unique challenges and opportunities in the healthcare sector. The Senior Strategic Planner collaborates with clients, Creative, Science and Medical and Client Services teams, and Planning team, to formulate comprehensive strategies that resonate with the target audiences and meet the clients' communication and business objectives. They play a pivotal role in translating complex healthcare information into compelling and impactful work, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
The Senior Strategic Planner reviews campaign performance, gathers feedback, and refines strategies to optimise outcomes, contributing to the agency's success in delivering effective healthcare communications solutions.
Responsibilities
- Aids in the development and implementation of proprietary strategic planning tools
- Leads key strategic projects across the client and discipline base
- Provides mentoring to junior members of the team
- Injects new ideas and thoughts to help the development of the strategic planning discipline
- Aids creativity in the development of outstanding ideas
- Works closely with account management to develop and sell strategy and great ideas
- Manages strategic research projects on behalf of clients
- Drives workshop design and facilitation
- Manages consumer research and category studies for new business initiatives
- Works closely with the Singapore General Manager, Singapore Creative Director and the team in Sydney to achieve growth, with a focus on the pursuit of health & wellness brands
Experience & Skills
- Tertiary qualified in a communications/marketing discipline
- 6+ years advertising agency experience with 3 years minimum in strategic planning
- Strong experience in digital strategy
- Experience in health & wellness brands and/or health & wellness agency experience desirable
