Job Responsibilities
- Assist the Project Manager in site management, including site supervision, program schedules and construction methods, forecast equipment, material and manpower allocation, and control usage and wastages
- Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes from suppliers, subcontractors and vendors, reviewing proposals, and making recommendations to the Project Manager
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including architects, engineers, and subcontractors, to ensure smooth project execution
- Conduct risk assessments and develop contingency plans to mitigate potential issues.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, including meeting minutes, project updates, and progress reports
- Communicate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and team members, to provide project updates and address any concerns
- Ensure timely completion, good quality of works and compliance with safety regulations
- Identify and resolve any project roadblocks or conflicts that may arise, escalating issues to the Project Manager when necessary
- Maintain knowledge of industry trends and best practices, recommending process improvements as needed
Requirements
- At least 3-5 years experience in building construction field, especially with a focus on highend residential projects
- Working Hours : 8am to 6pm / 5.5 days work
- Degree in Building/Construction Management, Civil/Structural Engineering or any other discipline related to Building Construction.
- Able to read and understand construction technical drawings
- Able to work independently, while managing several projects concurrently
- Strong sense of duty and responsibility
- Excellent supervision, organisational and interpersonal skills
- A meticulous self-starter with a keen eye for detail
- Able to execute orders and follow SOP dutifully and responsibly
