Sustainability Program Manager, Responsible Supply Chain

Meta is hiring a Sustainability Program Manager to join the Infrastructure Sustainability team focused on the Responsible Supply Chain (RSC) program. This position will be focused on managing social and environmental responsibility findings with suppliers and supporting RSC labor and health and safety programs across Meta’s supply chain. We are looking for candidates with experience implementing and managing responsible supply chain activities, human rights due diligence, and working with suppliers and stakeholders in technology and electronics supply chains. This role will be based in Singapore.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Examine through root cause analysis and manage supplier performance improvements against RSC standards
  • Contribute to improvement programs that support sustained high supplier performance
  • Support implementation of social and environmental responsibility programs and assurance activities at suppliers
  • Maintain positive, proactive relationships with key suppliers and stakeholders
  • Engage with sourcing (procurement), legal, business units and other cross-functional teams to align program objectives and manage key metrics
  • Provide day-to-day coordination for projects and effectively communicate status and priorities to team members and cross-functional partners
  • Assess opportunities, risks and trends in priority sourcing countries in Asia Pacific region
  • Contribute to internal and external reporting and communications
  • represent Meta externally, as needed
  • Contribute to the RSC assurance program strategy and its implementation

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in business management, natural sciences or similar
  • At least four to six years’ work experience and subject matter experience and expertise in social compliance or supply chain labor, human rights, and health & safety
  • Strong program management skills with demonstrated ability to self-manage complex program delivery on a regional level
  • Proven ability to deliver results through personal leadership and influencing others
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and reconcile conflicting inputs and propose go-forward solutions that meet the needs of the overall group and the individuals
  • Demonstrated ability and willingness to learn
  • This role requires travel (25-30%)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Fluency in English and Mandarin is preferred because the role requires the individual to work cross-functionally and build relationships with internal stakeholders and suppliers where communications may be in Mandarin
  • Experience in supply chains, ethical sourcing field, including supplier on-site assessments and development
  • Experience with supply chain codes of conduct preferably in technology or electronics sector
  • An advanced degree in sustainability related field, human rights, environment, health & safety, corporate responsibility or public policy
