- Manage overall changes in relation to organisation’s need to manage and implement new ICT systems and conceptualise initiatives;
- Facilitate project activities for a smooth rollout of any system required by organisation;
- Oversee the change process for system enhancements and managing organisation’s other suppliers (including checking that they deliver their deliverables on schedule and informing organisation of any delays);
- Manage application development and maintenance issues with Company users and company’s other suppliers;
- Manage organisation user expectations, maintain good rapport with organisation users and understand organisation users’ requirements;
- Adhere to quality management system (“QMS”) and other audit requirements;
- Any task that may be required by the authority from time to time, and deemed reasonable and relevant to the job scope/nature and capabilities of the CMS personnel; and
- Provide to organisation’s status updates of application development or maintenance.
Job Requirements
- A degree in computer science/information technology or related area;
- Minimum of 5 years working experience in the ICT industry;
- Have completed at least 2 full cycles of software development lifecycle;
- Strong analytical, conceptualisation and problem solving skills;
- Results-oriented and customer-oriented;
- Good team player with strong organisation and people management skills;
- Good competency in spoken and written English.
Application Project Manager with the following are preferred:
(a)Project management experience;
(b)Project management related certification such as CITPM, COMIT, PMP or equivalent;
(c)Experience with:
(i)agile project development;
(ii)continuous integration (CI) / continuous deployment (CD);
(iii)use of data visualisation tools and reporting tools;
(iv)use of robotic process automation tools, low-code form building and reporting tools;
(v)implementation of system in cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP).
