As an Instructor, you will lead a team of Volunteers / Facilitators to conduct M.Y Strong Reader sessions to preschoolers between 4 – 6 years of age.
Responsibilities
- Manage Class Aides and conduct weekly briefings about sessions
- Prepare session materials and ensure smooth running of sessions
- Create a fun learning environment for Class Aides and children
- Lead and supervise Class Aides to run Learning Journeys and weekly sessions
- Lead programme activities including but not limited to parent-child bonding day,as required or called upon
- Liaison with on-site teachers and principals as needed
Requirements
- Must have prior experience in working with preschoolers and/or classroom management
- Must be open to traveling to different locations around Singapore
- Diploma/Degree in any discipline, Early Childhood preferred
- Passionate about reading and working with preschoolers
- Resourceful and good problem-solving skills
- Strong collaborative and communication skills with stakeholders
- Confident in team leading a diverse group of people from all walks of life
