Position Summary The role is primarily in pre sales, tenders and bids stage and requires both broad and deep technology knowledge and the ability to conceptualize business solution to customer. Demonstrated ability to engage in senior level technology decision maker discussions related to agility, business value, and .NET is also a must.
Pre Sales Software Consultant / Software Architect should be formally in Post Sales, Delivery Team and highly familiar in the project methodologies ie Design, Technologies in order to review the tenders/bids.
Responsibilities:
• Develop project technology strategy by understanding key client objectives; diagnosing and mapping client requirements; articulating solution risks and barriers; recommending project approaches; preparing time and cost estimates; planning full project life cycle
• To Prepare and deliver the business value solutions for customers, including proposal writing, presentation, conduct, proof-of-concept to showcase its technical feasibility when necessary
• To Propose the technical solution and oversee the selection of technologies and estimate resources required to develop the proposed solution to meet customer’s requirements.
• Articulate alternatives in terms of cost, benefit and risk where multiple solution exist.
• Highlight the positive impact of the solutions and it how it can achieve customer’s business goals
• Manage customer relationship by communicating architecture standards and frameworks; answering questions; resolving concerns and issues
• Actively participate in the business development lifecycle. Identify opportunities, generate proposals, and support other sales efforts
• Increase organization effectiveness by identifying opportunities to leverage solutions to other engagements
• Improve information usefulness by tracking emerging technologies; evaluating their applicability to business goals and operational requirements
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience
• 7+ years of technical presales, technology transformation, enterprise solution blue printing, or Solution Architect experience in the software or cloud industries in a customer-facing role.
• Experience in IT computing (e.g., applications, infrastructure, storage, platforms, data), as well as cloud market and competitive dynamics. working knowledge of modern software development practices and technologies such as agile methodologies and DevOps is highly desired.
• Experience in network infrastructure, security, data, or application development.
• Experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps.
• Knowledge of technology solutions and ability to learn and work with emerging technologies, methodologies, and solutions in the Cloud/IT technology space.
• Understanding of large-scale computing solutions and the enterprise technology buying and evaluation process.
• Ability to collaborate across organizational boundaries, build relationships, and achieve broader organizational goals.
• Ability to deliver results and work cross-functionally. Ability to engage/influence audiences and identify expansion engagements.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as the ability to work effectively across internal and external organizations.
