Autodesk is looking for a senior Accounts Payable Working Capital Analyst. This role will be in the Singapore and reporting directly to the Manager of Global Accounts Payable located in Singapore with dotted reporting responsibilities to Global Treasury Ops Director
This position will support treasury operations especially in APAC region, improve working capital through the payment cycle, analyze supplier spendings and identify cost-saving initiatives, support the forecast process with respect to natural expenses, maintain solid policy compliance and internal controls and establish good business relationships with suppliers. This role will include routine duties such as performing account reconciliations, meeting financial closing deadlines and KPIs.
Responsibilities
Payments
- Reconcile disbursement activity with SAP and execute payment run activity, as needed
- Confirm receipt of payment files submitted to various banks
- Authorize payment batches, manual payments
- Provide payment confirmation and deal with payment queries
- Perform IC settlements for LRD COGS and ESPP in APAC
Daily Cash Management
- Monitor daily cash flows impacting cash-forecasting models for APAC
- Prepare daily consolidated cash position
- Monitor cash levels in different currency accounts, initiating transfers between accounts as appropriate
- Administer bank accounts, bank portals, and bank fee analysis to ensure a well-controlled and accurate APAC banking structure foundation supporting cash management excellence
Forecasting/Planning
- Work closely with all key stakeholders such as FP&A, FBP, Card Program, etc. to obtain latest updates and information that may impact the AP forecast and actuals
- Analyzing forecast overruns, spend trends and optimize AP capital opportunities
- Prepare monthly AP cash forecast in APAC to ensure adequate funding to execute supplier invoice payments
Bank Account Management
- Lead KYC audit for APAC region liaising with internal stakeholders
- Maintain the company’s legal entity information with the banks
Ad-hoc Projects
- Roll out Supply Chain Financing project
- Lead AP working capital initiatives
- Support process/report automations
- Support M&A integration
Minimum Qualifications
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
- Good problem-solving, judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with coworkers, managers, and other stakeholders
- Ability to multitask and work in a dynamic fast paced environment with tight deadlines
- Flexible work schedule to accommodate peak times
- Strong sense of ownership and lead assigned projects from beginning to close as well as work in a team setting
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Chinese. Comfortable communicating and interacting with remote teams at all levels to gather information and resolve questions
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or accounting
- A minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in accounts payable domain in a global company and financial analyst experience
- Excellent knowledge in Excel, Power Point. Experience with S4 Hana, Ariba, OpenText and Vertex is highly desired
- Prior experience in automating processes, data mining and have knowledge of using automation tools such as Alteryx, PowerBI, Smartsheet is plus
