Overview
The System Engineer (Resident Engineer) provides the Management and Operational Support to customer on-site.
Job Description
The on-site network FM service provide operational support for system operations which includes but not limited to the following systems:
- Microsoft Active Directory Domain Services support including DNS, GPO.
- VMWare vSphere, vCenter & VDI support.
- Server Backup Operational support (perform regular backup and backup verification activities).
- Patch Management support (rollout of server patches).
- Antivirus deployment support (rollout, support, and monitoring).
- Cloud services operational support (AWS, Azure, Microsoft Office 365, etc).
- General Server support including health checks (mostly based on Microsoft Windows 2012 Servers and native services).
- Process changes requests (service requests).
- Assist in updating the SOP.
- Generate regular reports of resources.
- Any other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology or related discipline.
- At least 3 to 5 years of relevant working experience in supporting FM Services for solutions on AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
- AWS / MCSA certifications will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge in setup and maintenance of MS Exchange / Sharepoint will be an added advantage.
- Knowledge of Linux/Unix will be an added advantage.
