We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to fill the position of Accounting & Administrative Assistant. In this role, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including bookkeeping, and providing administrative support to the Director.
- 5-day work week (Mon - Fri, 9.30am - 6.30pm)
- Work from home possible
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining full set of accounts for various companies including education and events
- Monthly and ad hoc reporting generating
- Budgets and forecasts
- Respond to emails or direct them to the appropriate staff member
- Procurement for merchandise required
- Screen and liaise with external vendors and suppliers
- Assist with scheduling meetings and appointments
- Coordinate and manage travel arrangements, including booking flights and accommodations
- Provide other administrative support to the Director as needed
- Work occasional weekends and public holidays, and travel for work when required
Requirements:
- Minimum of a diploma in accounting, business administration, or related field
- Experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or administrative roles
- Strong organisational and time-management skills, with an ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software
- Able to travel for work when required (with expenses paid)
- Able to work on weekends when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Remuneration & benefits:
- Full-time position: Indicative $2800 to $3500
