Job Descriptions:
- Co-ordinate and liaise with respective subsidiaries regarding group consolidation matters.
- Ensure subsidiaries submit consolidation packages in a timely manner.
- Prepare month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing, and consolidate financial statements of the Group in accordance with IFRS and Group requirements.
- Prepare the statement of group cash flow, necessary supporting schedules, and announcements for SGX on quarter-end and year-end closing.
- Ensure group consolidation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare the board file quarterly.
- Assist in the preparation of the annual report, annual general meeting (AGM), and extraordinary general meeting (EGM).
- Assist in the preparation of the Sustainability Report.
- Assist in simplifying the monthly consolidation package.
- Prepare the consolidation of the group's annual budget and forecast.
- Assist in coordinating and liaising with external auditors for all group matters and issues.
- Ensure compliance with relevant statutory requirements and standards (Financial Reporting Standards and Tax Act).
- Assist in the development and implementation of standard operating procedures.
- Handle any ad-hoc matters as assigned.
Secondary role (10%):
- Manage a local subsidiary and its affiliates, overseeing various areas.
- Review payment vouchers and staff claims.
- Review financial reports to ensure compliance with overall group reporting and prescribed standards.
- Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budgeted financial reports.
- Monthly preparation of board pack materials and conduct monthly board meetings.
- Review GST reports for monthly or quarterly filing to IRAS.
- Oversee yearly stock take exercises.
- Review year-end closing and audit schedules, including liaison with auditors and tax agents.
- Coordinate and liaise on the yearly financial budget and forecast.
- Review daily cash flow.
- Perform detailed GPM analysis on a project basis.
- Travel to overseas subsidiaries may be required.
- Handle any ad-hoc matters as assigned.
Job Responsibilities:
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or ACCA, or its equivalent.
- Proficient in Singapore Financial Reporting Standards and/or International Financial
- Reporting Standards and group consolidation.
- Minimum of 5 years of related working experience. Experience in Group
- Consolidation under a Listed Company is preferred. Familiar with the analysis of group results and SGX reporting.
- Knowledge of SAP ERP System will be an added advantage.
