  • Responsibilities
  1. The Project Director shall play a key role in the conceptual development of the various construction projects and oversee its from pre-tender, tender, award, project organization, scheduling, and implementation
  2. He/She will be required to review performance of the project plan against construction progress monitoring, master schedule and cost control across all projects
  3. Responsible for cost management to manage projects within approved budgets, include materials, manpower and machinery cost control for new and running projects
  4. Responsible for analysing, managing and mitigating risks by exercising timely instructions to deal with the results of delays, or emergencies at construction project sites
  5. Reviewing manpower planning and monitoring of work schedules to ensure orderly delegation of jobs and smooth operation
  6. Ensure to exercise effectively safe and economical methodology and enforces quality construction standards and the use of proper construction techniques
  7. To maintain close collaboration with Construction Managers, Project Managers, Architects, Engineers and all stakeholders to minimise errors in the process to achieve smooth completion of projects and reports to the Managing Director
  8. To liaise closely with clients, consultants, sub-contractors, relevant authorities and developers in resolving site issues and authorities compliance issue
  9. Prepare internal and external reports pertaining to job status to Managing Director
  • Requirements And Skills
  1. 7-8 years relevant working experience within the Construction industry
  2. Proven working experience in construction management
  3. Advanced knowledge of construction management processes, means and methods
  4. Expert knowledge of building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards
  5. Ability to prioritize tasks well and able to work independently
  6. Able to work under stress and complete tasks within set deadlines
  7. Familiarity with construction management software packages
  8. Ability to plan and see the “big picture”
  9. Competent in conflict and crisis management
  10. Leadership and human resources management skills
  11. Excellent time and project management skills
