About The Role
Our client is a prominent global player in the shipping industry. They have highly stable corporate functions and there is now a rare opening within the corporate secretarial department. With strong precedence and framework in place, the corp sec team member would have plenty of opportunities to strive in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibility
The job entails a wide range of corporate secretarial responsibilities, including tasks like incorporating companies, organizing meetings, and handling documentation for various entities within the Group. It also involves ensuring compliance, performing due diligence processes, and timely filing of necessary documents. Additionally, this position involves supporting other departments, such as working with the external service providers, auditors and managing shareholder relationships within the Group. Miscellaneous duties may also be assigned.
Requirements
Ideally, you should have at least 6 years of experience gained as a corporate secretary from either a service provider or an inhouse organisation. ICSA Qualification is ideal. Knowledgeable in statutory requirements of the Companies Act and other government legislative will be highly regarded. You should have good command of written and spoken English and Mandarin and well adapted with working with global stakeholders across jurisdictions in different time zones. Someone who is organized, efficient and have high attention to detail and accuracy is preferred as well.
