As their Key Account Manager in Singapore, you are a proactive self-starter working on the front lines to build strong customer relationships.
In this exciting and dynamic role, you will engage customers through knowledgeable interactions, business discussions and educational opportunities about what the company has to offer. You will leverage your consultative selling techniques to acquire new businesses and translate customer needs into diagnostic solutions, establishing yourself as a valued partner and a trusted advisor. You will also develop and execute sales strategy for your territory and manage relationship with local partners to ensure maximum customers’ experience.
Responsibilities
- You will need to achieve quarterly and annual revenue and growth goals through new account acquisition and existing account development.
- You will leverage your ability to independently manage your territory and customer base in order to achieve and increase the recurring diagnostic revenue year over as well as attain quarterly medical device equipment sales.
- You will be responsible for developing and executing operational plans, to bridge the gap between strategic direction of the company and tactical implementation to achieve your sales goals, as well as lead or participate related to new or ongoing projects and other areas as needed.
- You will educate and train clinic staff about products, services and marketing initiatives, including how to engage customer service.
- You will be responsible for communicating customer needs as well as competitive issues to both inhouse marketing organization and your business unit manager.
- You will present the company’s values to our customers in a professional manner, including an understanding of our industry.
- You will complete sales administration and territory management activities using a Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software.
- You will have the opportunity to attend trade shows and other educational events in the region.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required. Major in medical technology or diagnostics.
- At least 3 years of sales and/or account management experience.
- Demonstrated strong sales and closing skills with a documented track record of success in achieving sales goals.
- Strong communication skill, both verbal and written in English, with the ability to influence and negotiate with customers, co-workers, and peers.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, grow and manage customer relationships to create long term customer loyalty.
- Strong organizational skills, especially in a multi-tasking environment. Effective time management skills to ensure desired business outcomes.
- Highly motivated and goal-oriented individual who excels at working cross functionally.
- Must possess a passion for business with the drive to achieve results.
- Must be professionally mature, and able to adapt to an independent and team-oriented environment. Strong interpersonal skills – ability to build strong customer relationships and build outstanding relationships with customers & colleagues.
- Solid computer skills (Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, Outlook, etc) and ability to utilize sales information management databases.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
