Description
- Ensure the healthy growth of all plants and nurseries
- Adhere to the regular schedule for watering and spraying of insecticides
- Upkeep of all plants, shrubs, hedges including the regular trimming and pruning, and application of fertilizers
- Perform the necessary maintenance of potted plants and garden beds, including loosening of soil, weeding and so on
- Clearing of leaves and general cleaning up of plant and garden areas
- Oversee the proper storage and housekeeping of all plant materials and gardening tools
- Assist in sourcing and procurement of plants and gardening resources
- Assist in set-up and creation of new garden areas or nursery beds in the school
- Assist in plant arrangements and decorations for school functions
Qualification:
- Able to speak and understand English
- Basic knowledge of plants and related resources (fertilizers etc) and methods in maintenance of healthy plants and garden
- At least one year of experience in the upkeep of gardens or parks
