Job Responsibilities:
- Design and develop plastic parts, molds and molding processes
- Design and develop engineered plastic parts, insert molded parts and assemblies
- Design necessary components
- To design mould based on customer specifications and requirements
- Develop 2D & 3D solid mold designs
- Analyse and interpret data and create new product designs
- Analyse manufacturing data and suggest improvements
- Ensure quality output of molded components
- Review existing validation reports
- Others ad hoc duties as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Possess minimum Diploma / Degree in Engineering or relevant qualification with minimum 2 years engineering experience in a manufacturing setting; including state of the art manufacturing technology/concepts and cost reductions
- Experience in using engineering/design software, Auto CAD
- Knowledge in CAD/CAM and Unigraphic software
