Duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- To handle the day to day accounting activities (include payments, receipts, AP & AR transactions)
- Perform monthly bank reconciliation and inter-company reconciliation
- Ensure timely completeness in accounting closing and accuracy in accounting reports.
- Monitor organization’s cash flow
- Monitor quarterly GST returns and prepare GST Returns and Submissions.
- Assist to prepare annual Budget, monthly and quarterly reports for management.
- Assist in audits and tax fillings and liaison with auditor and tax agent.
- Understand and ensure comply to financial regulations and legislation.
- Liaise with external business partners such as distributors, bank, external auditors, government authorities and etc.
- Attend to operational issues that have financial and administration impact
- Assist to prepare finance report for management review.
- Ensure timely completeness in accounting closing and accuracy in accounting reports.
- Maintain good documentation and filing system
- Assist in establishing internal control procedures to improve accounting process
- Update inventory on hand and received.
- Responsible for the stock check, inventory accuracy and management.
- Any other jobs as assigned
Job Requirements:
- Candidates should possess at least a Diploma/ CAT/ACCA Level 2/Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy or equivalent
- Candidates should have at least 2 years of working experience in handling full set of accounts
- Strong analytical skills and able to multi-tasks.
- Detail-orientated, and meticulous.
- Able to work independently and effectively under pressure to meet deadlines
- Team player and proactive.
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel)
- Able to communicate with English & Mandarin is preferred. In order to liaise with the English & Mandarin speaking clients and associates.
