Data, Report and Dashboard Analyst
Job Requirements
- Minimum bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional qualifications in Computer Science, Business Information Systems, Mathematics, Statistics, or similar quantitative discipline, with at least 4-6 years of total work experience in banking/finance industry, preferably with business / functional knowledge
- Basic knowledge in banking operations is required. Having experience as a data analyst or in a related role/field in banking/finance industry is highly desirable
- At least 2 years of hand-on experience in MS SQL, Jira, Confluence, Qlik Sense, Power BI, eazyBI and relevant data/report-related plugins for these systems
- Excellent command of Excel, and fluent in one or more programming languages, such as Python, SQL, SAS, and R
- Experience in gathering and documentation of business and technical requirements for data collection, analysis, maintenance, and reporting purposes
- Proficient in designing, developing, modeling, and documenting data-driven solutions – including capturing / creating / utilizing data architectures, metadata systems, data dictionaries, databases, applications, pipelines, BI Tools, Big Data Platforms, analytical /query, and visualization tools\
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy, and keen to deep dive into data to find answers to yet unknown questions and have a natural desire to go beneath the surface of a problem
- Exceptional data visualization and communication skills to present findings and insights to senior management and key stakeholders, including non-technical business users.
- Good written / oral communication skills to effectively interact with different stakeholders and external vendors, able to work independently under pressure
- Ability to work effectively in a team-fostered, multi-tasking environment, and a proactive team player who is curious about data and possesses a strong drive to create and lead initiatives
