Role Overview:
As a Product Safety Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring company products comply with chemical regulatory and product safety standards. If you have a science background, experience in a laboratory environment, and a passion for navigating complex regulatory landscapes, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities:
- Gather and interpret information spanning scientific, technical, environmental, and regulatory factors.
- Effectively communicate technical and regulatory requirements both verbally and in writing.
- Collaborate with R&D, site technical contacts, SHE contacts, sales managers, and VPs.
- Assess the impact of regulatory and scientific developments on our products and implement processes for ongoing compliance.
- Maintain a keen attention to detail, recognizing the potential consequences of decisions on customer satisfaction and regulatory compliance.
- Balance ad hoc requests with annual targets, striving for continuous improvement in efficiency.
- Support new product development by assessing safety data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to technology design.
- Diploma or Degree in Science (Chemistry, Biochemistry, etc.) background
- Minimum 3 years' experience in manufacturing environment with knowledge of cosmetic and chemical regulations.
