To maintain the operational capability of the incineration plant such as performing scheduled maintenance such as preventive and predictive programs of the plant equipment and machinery. Performing daily inspection on equipment to look out for anomalies and having good documentation on various records and reports for the maintenance operation. Candidate shall be equipped with the ability to understand system schematics and drawings.
Maintenance
· Ensure the plant day-to-day operation is functional at its optimum level.
· Assist the engineer and lead a team of skilled worker in the maintenance and expeditious repair of the plant’s mechanical equipment
· Performing scheduled maintenance such as preventive and predictive programs of the plant equipment and machinery
· Perform daily inspection on equipment.
· Analyze breakdowns, diagnose faults and execute the required rectification process. ]
· Take part in plant overhaul activities.
· Ensure close coordination with various parties for maintenance activities.
· To ensure that equipment maintenance & service procedures and programs are effectively implemented consistent with sound engineering practices.
· Ability to understand system schematics and drawings.
· Assist the engineer in any other duties as required.
Requirements
· Minimum Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in Waste to Energy Plant
· Boiler Attendant / Steam Engineer Certification will be a plus
· Medically fit.
· Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Able to work 6 days a week and if required, including public holidays and weekends.
· Extended working hours might be required if urgent work needs to be done to machinery or plant.
· Shift work is not required.
· Team player that is proactive and able to work under pressure.
· Maintaining a positive outlook in the event of adverse condition.
· Process Plant WSH Supervisor Certificate and above.
