Job Description:
- Ensure strict adherence to Halal standards and regulations in all procurement activities, including the acquisition of certified products and services.
- Collaborate with the procurement team to manage requisitions, purchase orders, and vendor interactions, consistently considering and implementing Halal requirements.
- Organize and maintain the filing system for Halal certificates and supplier documents, ensuring compliance with Halal rules.
- Coordinate the efficient delivery and logistics to various outlets.
- Maintain open communication channels with Accounts, Operations, Outlets, Chefs, and Suppliers to guarantee that goods consistently meet the required quality and quantity, with a particular focus on Halal standards.
- Foster and sustain positive relationships with suppliers, ensuring the smooth operation of procurement processes.
- Regularly update outlets on any changes to products and provide detailed information/specifications.
Requirements
• Certification in Halal compliance is a plus • Administrative skills are ideal
