If you are a Sales professional with a curiosity about the Marine industry, then Emerson has an exciting role for you! The primary purpose of this role is to drive Propulsion Optimization / Emission Saving Technology (EST) growth and increase customer engagement in the Marine market. This will be done by working closely with the customers, Marine Sales Channel and support team within Asia Pacific.
Apart from growing the booking and sales in the Asia Pacific region, the Sales Manager will be responsible for helping to implement our go-to-market strategy and introducing Propulsion Optimization / EST to support Marine market growth.
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
· Understand the pain of the customer in the marine industry and be able to tackle this pain by offering Emission Saving Technologies. Responsible for the growth of targeted regions.
· Develop the strategic plans for allocated regions and follow up on the progress to grow the sales, and increase market participation and profitability, according to budget, and growth initiatives.
· Use tools like Poseidon and MTM sales policies. Report on developments, manage your budget and give regular and accurate input to POR and SE & OP.
· Actively searching for new accounts within the region, to promote the Propulsion Optimization / EST solution.
· Act as a champion for the region to promote the differentiators of Propulsion Optimization / EST technology and support regional sales in conveying the differentiators. Contribute and implement the sales and marketing strategy regionally.
· Point of contact with the Product team in case of critical issue of commercial or product development requirements.
· Manage and develop the agent network, being able to communicate and cooperate with different internal and external functions.

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
· Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Engineering or any related field
· International Sales Experience of technical products specifically on Propulsion Control / Optimization will be preferable.
· Additional proficiencies in multiple languages will be an added advantage.
