The Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants (ISCA) is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic Community Growth Strategist to join our team. This role reports to the Community Growth Strategy Lead and the selected candidate will be responsible for driving community outreach initiatives with educational institutions such as secondary schools, junior colleges, ITE colleges and polytechnics, with the objectives to promote accountancy as a profession of choice and grow the talent pipeline of accounting & finance professionals in Singapore.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
Community Outreach
- Plan and carry out outreach activities at educational institutions including secondary schools, junior colleges, ITE colleges and polytechnics.
- Engage with stakeholder groups, including educators, ECG counsellors, parents and students through the organising of career talks, career fairs and activities to showcase diverse careers in accountancy.
- Represent ISCA in doing presentations and sharing on initiatives such as ISCA Student Membership and pathways to become a Chartered Accountant.
- Administer study awards and sponsorships for students and manage communications with the schools.
- Work closely with representatives from educational institutions to collaborate on activities and initiatives that grow the talent pipeline of accounting & finance professionals.
- Plan and carry out learning activities for ISCA Student Members including ISCA’s Career Exploration events, and maintain communication channels for Student Members.
- Identify and leverage new platforms and areas of collaborations with the education sector to promote accountancy as a profession of choice and grow the talent pipeline.
Events Support
- Support the department’s outreach events for other segments such as working professionals and employers.
