JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Handle full set of accounts and ensure timely as well as accurate closing.
- Prepare consolidated financial statements, including consolidated balance sheet, income statement, and cash flow statement.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards (US GAAP and IFRS).
- Review and monitor the Group’s financial performance against budget.
- Implement financial system and configure it according to financial requirements, management reporting, accounting standards, and regulatory compliance.
- Streamline financial processes, eliminate inefficiencies, and automate routine tasks using system functionalities and workflows.
- Implement controls, workflows, and approval mechanisms within the system to enhance financial transparency, accuracy, and compliance.
- Maintain a detailed fixed asset database, including asset descriptions, acquisition dates, costs, depreciation methods, and useful lives.
- Manage corporate tax, GST reporting and ensure compliance with tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Preparing payment instructions for office expenses and settlement of import duties.
- Liaise with external auditors for yearly audit and issuance of financial statement.
- Assist to prepare required reports for data analysis to facilitate business decision-making.
- Any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Minimum a Bachelor’s degree in a Accountancy preferably with professional certification such as ACCA or CPA.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience preferably with financial audit experience
- Regional experience highly preferred (China and India)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially Microsoft Excel and Office 365
- Knowledge of SAGE UBS or ERP system will be an added advantage.
