In this capacity, you will assume responsibility for implementing the Data Governance Framework across all business sectors. Reporting to the Head of Data Governance and collaborate closely with senior executives in the organization to fulfill requirements outlined in the Enterprise Data Governance program. The goal is to institutionalize the target operating model for data quality management within the business.
Key Responsibilities:
- Execute the data quality target operating model, including the deployment of the data quality technology solution.
- Formulate and uphold data quality rules, complete with thresholds, to align with the demands of business processes relying on core data.
- Institute and oversee data quality metrics, demonstrating advancements in the quality of core data assets over time.
- Establish a systematic approach to managing data quality issues, overseeing and tracking these issues through their lifecycle, including root cause analysis, solution design, and remediation, with a focus on addressing issues at their source.
- Review incidents related to data to ensure alignment with data quality rules.
- Guarantee adherence to data principles in any data-related project and collaborate with project teams.
- Conduct training sessions on data quality management, educating and fostering awareness of data quality principles and processes.
Requirements:
- Proficient in SQL and reporting techniques, with expertise in data analytics tools, including R and/or Python.
- Possess hands-on experience with BigData technologies such as Spark, ProtoBuf, and DBT.
- Familiarity with AWS and proficiency in tools like AirFlow, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Strong communication skills, coupled with a track record of being a team-builder, results-oriented, proactive, and self-driven.
- Demonstrates creative and strategic thinking, innovative problem-solving skills, and exceptional organizational abilities.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks concurrently, prioritizing effectively, meeting tight deadlines, and maintaining composure in times of uncertainty and stress.
