General Description:
This position is responsible for effective handling of tenders from customers and aligning opportunities with the company's strategic objectives.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
- Work closely with global and regional account management team to lead and support the preparation and submission of tenders for global and strategic clients.
- Analyse tender specifications and coordinate with countries mainly in the APAC region for accurate and timely responses.
- Coordinate with multiple stakeholders including local offices and central procurement teams to ensure high quality and competitive offers.
- Develop a project plan and time schedule for adequate pricing analysis, internal review and evaluation in-line with the global tender management process.
- Maintain records of tenders in internal reports and tender document management system
- Leading/Involvement in meeting with cross region stakeholder to give advice or provide analysis from TM perspective to achieve corporate goal
- Other functional and administrative support from time to time, as required
Skills Required:
- Advanced MS-Excel is mandatory (Application of Excel functions such as VLOOKUP,INDEX-MATCH, CONCATENATE, PIVOT etc.)
- Ability to utilise software efficiently e.g. Ariba/Jagger/etc.
- Fast-thinker, Problem solver and strong aptitude for numbers
- Good interpersonal skills and understanding of cultural diversity
- Must be fluent in spoken and written English. Ability to speak Mandarin would be an advantage.
- Ability to multitask and perform under pressure
Qualifications & Experience:
- Diploma in SCM/Logistics/Business Administration or other related fields preferred
- 2-3 years experience in the freight forwarding/logistics industry
