Job Description:
- Participate in the design of water/wastewater treatment systems for various industries during tendering and project stages.
- Prepare relevant documents and drawings, including flow diagrams, general arrangements, technical specifications, etc. for project tendering.
- Conduct detailed engineering for secured projects, encompassing PFD, PID, technical specifications, process descriptions, control philosophy, etc.
- Review and determine engineering requirements, such as equipment sizing, material selection, piping sizing, and hook-ups for optimal process operation.
- Work collaboratively to generate commercial and technical submissions for tenders/proposals to clients.
- Engage in technical discussions and clarifications with customers and suppliers.
- Participate in testing and commissioning activities.
- Contribute to the preparation of operation and maintenance manuals for projects.
- Handle any ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superiors.
Requirements:
- Degree in Engineering Discipline or Environmental Science.
- 4 to 6 years of prior experience in process design for wastewater industries.
- Knowledge in evaporator, mechanical vapour compressor, aerobic/anaerobic processes, membrane technology (UF, MBR), sludge handling, etc., in water/wastewater treatment processes.
- In-depth knowledge of process and mechanical engineering
- Excellent analytical and logic skills
- Understanding of manufacturing, processing, and production
