Project Manager
Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Project Manager located in Singapore. The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall design, delivery and management of training programs and initiatives for AKC’s suite of courses. The Manager will also manage trainers and course developers, and work closely with other departments and business partners to ensure the overall consistency and effectiveness of programs for all AKC learners.
Key Responsibilities
The key responsibilities of the Project Manager encompass the following:
- Manage the end-to-end development and implementation of existing and new AKC training programs within targeted performance, cost and schedules.
- Manage relationships with accreditation bodies & external training partners to ensure robust delivery of training programs, including provision of updates and fault rectification.
- Manage trainers, developers and subject-matter experts to curate new training programs for learners and rectify programs.
- Stay abreast of training industry trends to ensure training materials are up-to-date.
- Coordinate logistics for training sessions, including scheduling, venue arrangements, and participant communication.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of training programs, implementing improvements as needed.
- Work closely with internal teams to align training programs with organizational goals and objectives.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (or any related field).
- At least 5 years of in-depth experience in managing training programs / projects.
- Experience with Training & Adult Education (TAE) instructional methods, pedagogical methods, and e-learning tools (e.g., EdTech, LMS) will be an added advantage.
- Ability to collaborate with subject-matter experts, trainers, developers and animators to implement training programs.
- Experience of learning principles and theories, as well as emerging trends and technologies in training and development.
- Strong knowledge of Skillsfuture Singapore training landscape is advantageous.
- Strong communication, leadership, and people management skills.
