We are seeking Solution Architect to join the Cloud & Custom Applications (C&CA) Practice at our SEA Digital Service Line. The position will be supporting the core functions of the organization which include solution governance, design authority and providing technical leadership.

  • Solution Architect will be responsible for developing reference architecture, solution architecture, related standards, architecture patterns and partnering with IT and business stakeholders to create business values across the value chain. Creating and keeping up to date the blueprint and roadmap for technologies that enable interactions both internal and external stakeholders.
  • Solution Architect shall demonstrate competencies in understanding business objectives. This involves having a deep understanding of business outcomes, capabilities, value streams and processes, and linking them to the portfolio of solutions (including projects, products, services and other systems).
  • Solution Architect also provides guidance on best practices, new trends, approaches, and impending digital technologies. As well as, interacts with stakeholders to define future states while continuing to oversee current technologies and architectures.
  • Determine the best technical solution after due evaluation
  • Provide specifications according to which solutions are to defined, managed and delivered
  • Lead the overall solution across various different Service Lines (Enterprise Applications, Custom Software Development, Cloud and Digital)
  • Develop system implementation plans, processes, solution architectures and technical architecture
  • Lead client proposal development and presentations
  • Lead solution architecture and delivery of the proposed solution at client projects; Build technical design and implementation plan;

Qualifications:

Key Skills & Experience

The ideal candidate for this key role in shaping the vision for our clients will have experience in a professional services environment, solution / technology architecture or technical services role, working in digital technologies. You will demonstrate a strong breadth and depth of skill across all aspects of technology relevant to digital, such as:

  • 15+ years of strong solution and delivery experience in Enterprise IT and Digital delivery programs; Pure project/program management experience will not suffice for this role.
  • Solid understanding of key architecture concerns such as availability, scalability, operability, maintainability and how to ensure that they are delivered as specified
  • Strong knowledge of enterprise architecture and design, including architecture frameworks such as TOGAF.
  • Experience with cloud native development solutions (AWS, Azure, GCC, MCC, OpenShift etc)
  • Experience in solution and delivery for clients in Singapore public sector is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of and experience of the application of modern architecture principles and patterns
  • Supporting platforms in live production environments.
  • Ability to communicate design concepts to deeply technical development teams as well as non-technical staff up to CxO level
  • Hands-on experience in several digital technologies or platforms such as:
  • Integration – APIs, micro-services patterns
  • Analytics tools / real-time data processing
  • Front-ed technologies: HTML5, CSS, JS, React, Angular and related frameworks
  • Infrastructure: Cloud IaaS, PaaS, security, server technologies, CDN
  • Strong knowledge of technologies such as RESTful APIs, programming languages, DevOps / DevSecOps concepts, cloud hosting practices and custom build / bespoke technologies.
  • Strong relationship management and communication skills, able to navigate organizations and bring multiple stakeholders together to achieve strategic business goals
  • Ability to dive deep into the solution, and hands-on solution development
